Originally from Chicago and now based in Kansas City, I’m a documentary/editorial wedding photographer who loves Jesus, nostalgia, movies, and celebrating couples on one of the most important days of their lives (aka YOUR WEDDING!!). A corporate girlie turned entrepreneur, I’ve always been obsessed with all things weddings and photography. After planning my own wedding and carrying all that stress on my shoulders, I realized there is nothing better than truly remembering the day through your wedding photos. Because your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration—why not remember it for what it really was?
Photography became a reality for me in a very unexpected way, and what started as a leap of faith turned into a calling and a passion. There is nothing more special than flipping through an album full of old memories and actually remembering what it looked like, who was there, and the stories held within those moments. That’s exactly how I want YOU to feel when you look back on your wedding photos.
Not only do I strive for a gallery full of direct-flash, editorial, old-money–vibe images, but the small, in-between documentary moments are what truly tie a wedding story together.Because your wedding day is not a production event. It’s a celebration of two people coming together, surrounded by your closest family and friends. And it deserves to be remembered not for how trendy it was, but for how it felt.
I do things a bit differently than most. I capture not only the “must-have” moments, but also the overlooked, in-between ones. My approach is a balance of gentle direction through movement-based prompts and stepping back to let moments unfold naturally, resulting in candid, documentary, timeless images.
I want you to relive your wedding day every time you look through your gallery—to feel the joy, emotion, and authenticity all over again. Photographing a wedding is about more than capturing a perfect image; it’s about documenting your day honestly.
If you value romance, creative collaboration, trust, and a celebration that reflects who you truly are, we’ll work beautifully together.
I get excited for every wedding because it’s about you, your fiancé, and the people surrounding you—not the production of it all. I act like a quiet paparazzi, following along discreetly and capturing the in-between moments that are so easy to forget. While every gallery includes formal photos for parents and family, the heart of your gallery is a complete, honest story of everything that happened on your wedding day.
Polaroids are one of my favorite things to hand off at the end of the night—filled with random, meaningful moments that quickly become fridge-worthy memories.
Marriage is such a beautiful representation of Christ, and when two people come together surrounded by their loved ones, I can’t help but tear up—especially during vows and speeches.
My love for Christ is the reason this business exists. What began as a hobby turned into a calling I never expected, and I’ve seen His faithfulness in every step—from taking a leap into photography to serving couples with the gifts He’s given me. Before anything else, my intention is to reflect Christ’s love in the way I show up, serve abundantly, and care for every couple I work with.
More than anything, my work is rooted in connection. I can’t just show up on a wedding day and hope the real moments magically show themselves—those come from actually knowing you. Your story. Your quirks. The reasons you two look at each other the way you do. I want to understand what matters most to you on your wedding day, what makes your heart race, and why you can’t wait to spend forever with your person.
Trust is essential to the experience we create together. When you feel comfortable and confident in the person documenting your day, you’re able to relax and fully enjoy each moment as it unfolds. That trust allows me to capture your wedding day naturally, without force or expectation.
Artistry is how your story comes to life. I’m inspired by the people I photograph and the spaces that surround them, using light, movement, and emotion to create a cohesive and intentional gallery. The result is imagery that feels elevated, thoughtful, and true to you.
