Like flipping through an old family album book or rewatching your favorite movie, the best images that you will love the most are the ones RETELLING that story, and the ones that are actually authentic (not posed “candid”), and give you that warm + fuzzy feeling.

Documentary style wedding photography means capturing the imperfect, real moments that required little to no direction. Of course, I will always be there to help and propose prompts if needed. But overall, you should be living in the moment of you wedding day -- not feeling stiff and staged during the full wedding day. Allowing the day unfold authentically with some direction when needed

I’m a Kansas City local but love to travel around the world to help couples have their unique love connection and story be captured authentically. Sitting at coffee shops, people watching, and creating little, cute stories for them is one of my favorite pass-time hobbies. With my documentary style wedding photography approach, I make sure to not only make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, but also make sure that you are able to relive your wedding day stories through images. - I have two crazy, sweet kitties - Parmi + Toothless (yes - he looks like the dragon from How To Train Your Dragon)
- Traveling is one of my biggest passions. If I could, I would love to see and spend a night at every airport in the world
- Born in Chicago, raised in the suburbs of Chicago, but recently moved to Kansas City!

This is through our first video chat, an engagement session, during the whole prep process with emails, and a questionnaire right before your wedding and engagement session!
That is why all of my sessions and wedding are heavily influenced by movement filled prompts verses stiff, awkawaard posing. But don't worry, we will get one "picture perfect" posed image for your grandma's frame.
